Quantum Speed’s Change/Cancellation Insurance

Covers you in the case of any emergency, vacation, illness or other commitments that may arise for you that may force you to change or cancel. For $99.00 + tax you will be assured that you can cancel your registration up to 14 days in advance of the start day with no penalty. (This refund does not include the $200.00 deposit that held your spot, if applicable). Also, after 14 days, if you cancel, you will receive a return of 50% of your fee and 50% credit towards a Quantum Speed Program the following Spring and/or Summer (less administration and re-booking fees). This insurance also allows you one (1) date change for no charge. Any additional group changes or week switches will be charged a fee of $75.00 per change per player.

If insurance is not purchased, there are NO refunds for any reason,  unless the camp is cancelled by Steffany Hanlen. Medical issues may be considered with an official/formal doctor’s note, however 50% of the full fee and/or administrative costs to be retained by Quantum Speed.  Any/all changes and/or substitution weeks made to your program, once your program is paid in full, are subject to a $75.00 administration fee per change or substitution.

Cancellations prior to 30 days in advance of the start date of your program, may be considered at the discretion of Steffany Hanlen, charged the administration fee and paid out as a credit for the following year’s Spring and/or Summer programs.

A $100 fee for NSF cheques and/or declined credit cards will be charged. Programs require full payment at time of registration. Deferred payment and post-dated cheques will be subject to a fee.

Our guarantee is not a cancellation policy and does not apply to withdrawals due to injuries, medical issues, changes of schedules on either our part or the part of the player or their family – or any other cancellations. It is intended solely for those players who, after their first ICE SESSION, believe that FULLY PARTICIPATING IN QUANTUM SPEED™ will NOT improve their skating. They must have not participated in dryland (SPSA) nor the Performance Excellence Seminar. They will receive a cheque for the full amount less a 15% admin fee by the end of September and may not register in any Quantum Speed™ programs for 2 full Spring or Summer cycles.

Programs are 3 weeks in duration and are designed for maximum results. Purchase of individual weeks is not recommended and will not be considered unless under extra-ordinary circumstances. Each individual week sold will be subject to charges.  All payment schedules are to be approved by Quantum Speed™.

All prices, instructors, dates, time and locations are subject to change up to the date of the camps.

All skaters must wear full hockey equipment and bring a stick. Class sizes are limited and placement is decided upon by Quantum Speed™. Goalies must bring own equipment.

Quantum Speed Media Waiver

I understand that Quantum Speed may record video footage or take photographs during our on-ice sessions or our dryland sessions.

These videos or photos may be used on, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, our website, and other marketing materials. We collect this media, not only to promote our business, but as a way for you or your athlete to showcase their news skills. Cancellation Insurance

At Quantum Speed your privacy is important to us. We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality, security and accuracy of your personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to the personal information that is collected, used or disclosed during and after registering for a program, camp or activity with Quantum Speed.

What Personal Information Do We Collect?

Quantum Speed collects the personal information that you submit to us during your registration process, such as your name, address, age and any other contact or other information that you choose to provide during registration or by corresponding with a member or employee of Quantum Speed via e-mail.

If the information we require is held by third parties (such as webmasters, Internet Services Providers), we will endeavour to ensure that the information has been collected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

In some cases, we may be required by applicable law or regulatory requirements, or by the rules of professional conduct that govern skating clubs in the City of Edmonton or Province of Alberta, to collect information about you without your knowledge or consent and to disclose your information to agencies such as the City of Edmonton or Province of Alberta .

Quantum Speed will endeavour to safeguard personal information using methods that are appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

Unfortunately, no data transmitted over the Internet is ever 100% secure. As a result, Quantum Speed does not represent, warrant or guarantee that personal information will be protected against loss, misuse, interception or alteration and does not accept any liability for personal information submitted to us via the Internet or by email, nor for your or any third parties’ use or misuse of personal information.
