During my time as Head Coach and General Manager of the Swift Current Broncos of the WHL, we hired Quantum Speed and specifically Vanessa Hettinger to work with our players and prospects. Vanessa was instrumental in helping our players develop from an average team into a championship team in one season.

I have been part of Quantum Speed and their “Leaders in Training” program since I was thirteen years old. I am now 22 years old and a student athlete at Saint Mary’s University. My experience in this program has been instrumental in my personal growth. It has given me a place to develop my leaderships skills under high-performance mentors. Most importantly, this program provided me with a safe and inclusive space where I felt like I belonged, which gave me the confidence and security to grow as an athlete, coach, leader, and person. In addition to their Q3 skating program, Quantum Speeds stickhandling camp (Q3i) has helped me handle the puck better at the higher speeds I was able to achieve in the skating camps!
The past 2 summers I've had the opportunity to work with the team at Quantum Speed™ as a junior instructor and demonstrator. I can't say enough about the quality of people that work with and for them. Everyone's work ethic and commitment to the players makes it fun to be around and easy to absorb information, for the player, and also the other instructors. I recommend Quantum Speed™ to all players serious about their game and taking the next step in their career!

Since I was 10 years old, I have been a part of Quantum Speed, and have participated in their “Leaders in Training” program. I am currently a 21 year-old athlete playing for Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League. My overall experience with Quantum Speed has ultimately shaped me into the player and person I am today. All the members of the organization have taught me life-changing leadership qualities that I bring to all aspects of my life. Since day one, I have felt included and comfortable. They have provided a safe space for everyone who walks in the doors, no matter who they are. Ultimately, the program has helped me grow in every facet.

I just wanted to reach and thank Quantum Speed so much! The best thing that I have done for my son was reaching out to you because since he has been attending your programs, I have noticed such a change with his self-esteem and confidence.

Quantum Speed has an excellent reputation for delivering innovative, effective and high quality skating programs that are designed by industry professionals. Their entire team displays qualities such as consistency, dedication, enthusiasm, positivity and a high degree of knowledge on skating development. They always encourage and motivate the players to push themselves in order to reach their full potential. My three daughters have had an exceptionally positive experience through all of their interactions with Quantum Speed and I know that they look up to all the Quantum team members as role models, who they aspire to be like in the future. As a parent, I couldn’t ask for better people than the Quantum team to help teach and influence my daughters or the other girls that I coach.

I have been playing ringette for almost 25 years and didn’t realize all of the small aspects that work towards getting you down the ice until I participated in Quantum Speed. As a result of my participation in Q3r, my skating has become second nature. The program also helped my top end speed and my overall control on the ice. Every inch matters on the ice when you’re playing in the NRL. If you can improve one aspect of your technique, like your stride, it can drastically change the outcome when racing to the ring.

In the eyes of a scout, general manager, or head coach the first thing that they critique you on is your skating. Today’s game at the highest level is all about speed and pace. The “Q Crew” at Quantum Speed are the best in the business when it comes to taking the time to break down your stride and helping you to be the best. From skate sizing, blade alignment, supporting what you do in the off ice sessions with what you do on the ice, every little thing is considered when striving to be a high performance athlete at Quantum Speed. A line used often is, “Why be satisfied with just being ok.” QS is not only a place where you go to be the best, it’s a place where you are surrounded with people who make you want to be the best. All of these attributes separate Quantum Speed from any other power skating group or company in the world and with that being said I can’t thank them enough because at the end of the day they are the main reason I am where I am today in the hockey world. Since the first seminar of technique week I have been improving, learning, and making connections all for the business of Colby Sissons, and in doing that I give a huge thanks to Quantum Speed for all that they have done for me, and will continue to do for me down the road as it is a must for every off season and should be for you as well.

I currently play for the Yale Bulldogs in the ACAC. I just finished Technique week with QS, and I really enjoyed it. I really learned a lot, especially about connecting my body so I can be faster and more efficient on the ice. A highlight for me was working with a group of really keen instructors that gave a lot of feedback, and a group of energetic guys that were ready to work.
